Crypto-fintech is reshaping finance globally, but true success requires more than just technology—it demands localization. Adapting platforms for Greek, French, Russian, and Turkish markets ensures accessibility, trust, and compliance.

The effective and timely administration of justice is a cornerstone of democracy. However, in Greece, language services—primarily translation and interpreting—have frequently been used as bureaucratic smokescreens to delay legal proceedings in major corruption and negligence scandals. The cases of Siemens, Novartis, and the Tempi train crash stand out as emblematic examples where the translation of key documents and the provision of interpreters became convenient tools for stalling justice.
The Tempi train crash was one of the most devastating railway accidents in Greece’s history, exposing systemic failures in infrastructure, safety protocols, and governance. Beyond the technical and legal aspects, the way language has been used throughout this crisis reveals a lot about how governments, corporations, and the media shape narratives to manage public perception and (non)accountability.
YouTube has once again taken a significant step toward inclusivity with its Audio Track feature. This innovation allows creators to upload multiple audio tracks in different languages for a single video, making content more accessible to a global audience. As language consultants, we recognize the immense potential this feature brings to businesses, educators, and content creators. Let’s explore how YouTube’s Audio Track feature can be a game-changer for multilingual content strategy. I will keep it short and sweet: there are lots of reasons for which a startup company should invest in translation and other language services. Here are four reasons that I consider to be of utmost importance:
1. To expand to or test a new market. Conducting a Language Audit prior to or even during any foreign language undertaking (multilingual training, translation, interpreting, etc.) has been proven to be of essence when managing language-related assets. The preliminary stage of such an Audit, as mentioned in my previous article, serves as a first contact of the company with the Language Management Consultant and aims to quantify the benefits of the Audit for the company and its operations.
As mentioned in my previous article, by launching this website and brand, I wanted to make a case for Language Management Consulting. Language Audit or Linguistic Audit is an integral part of this approach, so in this article, I will provide further information about what Language Audit is and how can your business benefit from it.

Generally speaking, Language Management is a more integrated approach to managing foreign languages within a company, i.e. to establish a Language Management Strategy (LMS), which is defined as a set of measures and techniques used to prevent linguistic barriers from occurring in new foreign markets. My article on the choice of the appropriate language in multinational companies (prefer.gr)6/18/2024 In recent decades, there has been intense research interest in the role of foreign languages in international business. This is normal, considering the fact that, although business has always been to some extent extroverted and internationally oriented, the globalization we have been experiencing since the end of the 20th century has brought new challenges for business, including "language challenges". Globalization has affected communication throughout the world, making it easier and faster.
